Due to the escalating health concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and keeping in consideration the health and safety of our patients and community, the Mays Cancer Center has decided to cancel and reschedule the Give Cancer the Boot Survivorship 5K for the fall. An email will be sent to all participants regarding refunds or applying the amount to the event in the fall. We look forward to seeing you in the future.
Join us for the 5th Annual Give Cancer the Boot Survivorship 5K & 1 Mile Walk at UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Proceeds from the race benefit the Patient and Family Assistance Fund at the Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio. The fund helps patients with financial assistance, medical copays, nutrition and counseling services, wellness services and lodging for those that travel for care.

PRICING:
Cancer Survivors are FREE (includes shirt)
Children under 12 are FREE (option to purchase t-shirt at $10)
5K: (Chip timed)
$25 until midnight 12/31/19
$30 until midnight 3/15/20
$35 until close of registration at 7:00 pm 4/2/20
$40 at Packet Pick up and on race day.
1 Mile Walk: (Not chip timed)
$20 until midnight 12/31/19
$25 until midnight 3/15/20
$30 until close of registration at 7:00 pm 4/2/20

There are 2 events. The courses will go through the South Texas Medical Center, on both streets, sidewalks and trails. Please be sure to have on the correct race bib on race morning!
The 5K is a run/walk chip timed event, that will be held on varying running surfaces.
The 1 Mile is a walk on varying surfaces.

Nice run!
Although a little rainy and muddy, the weather is cool and comfortable for a run! The event is fun and inspiring and meaningful. I had a great time!
