I Heart SA 5K

I Heart SA, the outreach arm of Living Faith Community Church, exists to create a spirit of unity by promoting the gospel and bringing people together.

Mission Statement:  I Heart SA is a faith based outreach organization committed to bringing San Antonio communities together by hosting events that encourage people, neighbors and local business owners to come together.  Our goal is to build relationships that bond people and local businesses together to build stronger communities.

On October 3, 2020 we will host a joint fundraiser with Communities In Schools-San Antonio (CIS-SA) at SeaWorld San Antonio.  This fundraiser will bring awareness to the needs of youth in our community.  Our goal is to inspire people, families, communities, and local businesses to form strong networks that work together to build stronger communities.

The mission of Communities in Schools of San Antonio is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.  Based directly inside 100+ schools throughout Bexar County, Communities in Schools connects children and their families to basic and critical educational and community-based resources, tailored to each student's specific needs.

Schedule of Events:

 Registration:  6:30 am

 Warm Up:  7:30 am

 Race Time:  8 am

 Closing Ceremonies: 10 am

 You can register as a Team or an Individual.

5K Team:

This category is for friends, family and/or coworkers to join together and start their day out in a healthy way and support our mission.  You can walk or run.

1.  Team Captain registers under 5K Team "Register Captain," and creates a Team Name.

2.  Share that Team Name with friends and family and/or cowokers and have them register as a Teammate, and click on the correct Team Name.

5K Youth Group:

This is a special category for youth groups that want to compete!  Join us with up to 15 of your most enthusiastic runners to compete against other youth groups.  Separate awards will be given for the fastest combined times.  For more information and special rates, contact:  Lisa@SolersSports.com

Individuals:

5K:  

This category is just for you.  Just you and the other runners/walkers participating in a 5K on a Saturday morning!

Sleepwalker:

This category is for those that aren't interested in running/walking the event.  They just want to register, to donate, and, either stay at home, or join us to watch the fun.  A shirt is NOT included with this registration.

Virtual 5K:

This category is for those that can't make the event, but you like to run/walk and want to participate from where you are.  Your registration gets you an Event Shirt and a Finisher Medal that will be mailed to you.

Children 11 and under can run for FREE with paid adult:

This category is for those kiddos that want to participate with an adult.  We understand that registering EVERYBODY in the family can get pricey, but we don't want to exclude anybody.  If your child is 11 or under, they can register for free, so that we can get a waiver signed, but there is no shirt included in that registration.  There is an option to purchase a shirt for $12.00. Please note:  This is a fundraiser and we ask that you respect the, "with paid adult," policy.
