2020 NEF 5K Run/Walk & Arts Festival

March 28th

 In 2020, the Northside Education Foundation (NEF) will celebrate serving as a passport to the future in education and innovation in NISD for 25 years.

On Saturday, March 28, join thousands of NISD employees, students, families, and community partners at O’Connor High School as they come together to support NEF’s mission of generating more resources for Northside educators and students.  After the race, participants are invited to enjoy the free Los Leones Student Arts Festival with more than 2,500 pieces of high quality artwork.  There will be a variety of food booths, performing artists and demonstrations, Northside history, plus much more for the entire family.

Vendor Fair: 7 - 10 AM

5K Start Time: 8 AM

Kids Free Fun Run (Approx. 400 meters): 9 AM

Los Leones Student Arts Festival: 9 AM - 2 PM

Pricing:

Until midnight 2/29/20

$30: 5K Competitive (includes cotton shirt)

$25: 5K Non-competitive (includes cotton shirt)

$25: Sleepwalker (Skip the race, just donate.)

Until close of registration on 3/20/20 at 11:00 pm

$35: 5K Competitive (includes cotton shirt)

$30: 5K Non-competitive (includes cotton shirt)

$30: Sleepwalker (Skip the race, just donate.)

On race day:

$45: 5K Competitive

$40: 5K Non-competitive

$40: Sleepwalker (Skip the race, just donate.)

*Children 10 years and younger can register for free with the option to buy a t-shirt for $10

All shirts will be ordered on 3/13/20, so anyone registered after midnight 3/12/20 is NOT guaranteed a shirt/shirt size

Finisher medals will be handed out to the first 2,250 people that cross the finish line on race day!

Packet Pick Up Information:

CAMPUS PICK UP:  If you choose this option, your packet will be picked up by the NISD Team Captain from your campus, and distributed at the campus/site you selected to represent at time of registration.  Packets will be ready for pick up at your designated campus/site the week of March 23rd.

NORTHSIDE ACTIVITY CENTER (NAC) PICK UP:  If you choose this option, packet pick up will be available 7 am- 7 pm on both March 24th and 25th at the Northside Activity Center, located at 7001 Culebra Rd., SATX 78238

Volunteers:
