2020 Stride For Sight "Saving Sight, Changing Lives" is a family and pet friendly 5K run/walk hosted by three partnering community organizations. Our mission in hosting the run/walk is to educate and inspire the community about the Gift of Sight, healthy vision, and to build awareness for the resources that our partners offer. 

Our event Unites individuals and organizations whom are supportive of our mission, Remembers local cornea/eye donors who gave the ultimate gift of sight, gives Hope to those who are need of cornea transplants, as well as those whom rely on free vision exams and those in need of the services provided by a guide dog.

This year's run/walk will take place rain or shine. (Note: If severe weather conditions deem it is unsafe to travel to the park, we will send out an email and post on social media.) 

Everyone is WELCOME - Runners, walkers, Lions members, donor families, transplant recipients, eye care professionals, allied healthcare staff and companies, service clubs and organizations, running clubs, students, we mean everyone!

The event will offer FREE breakfast tacos, FREE kid's fun run with prizes, entertainment, display of the Gift of Sight memorial quilts, team awards and more. 

Are you a runner but can't make it on race morning? Would you like to contribute to these awesome organizations?  We have a Virtual Option!  You can run your 5K ANYWHERE you like!  Send your pic to Lisa@SolersSports.com and we'll send you a custom finisher medal and an event shirt.

The Partners in Vision Stride for Sight Committee is monitoring all health directives coming from the Bexar County Health Department and statements of officials of the City of San Antonio regarding the current Corona virus situation.  Officials have determined that no upcoming Fiesta or associated events will be curtailed or cancelled.  They advise that all should heed standard practices that include frequent hand washing or use of hand sanitizing agents.  They also advise that those with symptoms that may need addressing should stay away from others and seek appropriate care.  Therefore, we have no change in mind to our plans to hold our 5k on March 21. 

All entry fees are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE

Attention Teams: Team captain must register before teammates, captain will be required to create password and share with teammates.
